Software Engineer/Mobius
Reports to: Project Manager
Location: Petersboro (near Logan), Utah
FLSA Status: Exempt, professional
Job Summary
Design, implement, test, and maintain Autonomous’ flagship product to meet client needs and advance robotics technologies. Mobius engineers participate in the full life cycle of software and/or hardware development and help determine project architecture and requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with a team of software engineers to add functionality and improve and upgrade Mobius software product applications
- Write understandable C# code
- Write detailed technical specifications for new features
- Maintain and extend developer documentation
- Work with customers (on-site and off) to ensure end product meets expectations
- Write unit-level tests and assist in specifying and creating integration tests

Essential Education, Work Experience and Skills
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related fields
- 3+ years industry experience preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work effectively in both independent and team and multiple team situation
- C# experience preferred, Java experience acceptable
- Understand multi-threading concepts and safety
- Understanding of geometry, trigonometry, matrix transforms, and general linear algebra
- MS Windows® development including “.Net”, WPF, WCF, and/or DirectX
- Proficient with MS Visual Studio®
- TCP and UDP protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and techniques and detail-oriented problem diagnosis
- UML, XML
- image processing
- GUI development
- Serial protocols
- SQL
- C/C++
