CAD DRAFTER SOLIDWORKS/IT MANAGER - Andersen Manufacturing, Inc., an
innovative company in the satellite antenna and automotive towing
industries, is seeking a designer/draftsman and IT manager for
immediate hire.
Experience and competency in Solidworks and 3D
modeling/detailing is a must. Maintaining network and PC operating
systems/software is also required. Candidate should have a basic
knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining, sheet metal processes,
technical writing and Windows OS. Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks and
learning a Coordinate Measuring Software will also be part of the job
duties.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Associates Degree or better in Drafting Technology or Engineering Design.
- Proficient in the use of Solidworks with a minimum of one year's practical experience. CADKEY experience is a plus.
- IT and networking skills to maintain company Servers and PCs.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding and fabrication to create shop drawings is also required.
- Candidate will create shop/fabrication drawings for internal use or for outsourcing to vendors.
- Candidate will take measured data from a Coordinate Measuring Systems and reduce data down with Verisurf software to generate reports on satellite reflector's accuracy.
- Candidate will be required to write any technical manuals or installation instructions for products built and sold by Andersen Manufacturing.
