Facilities
VLSI/CAD Laboratory
This laboratory provides students with the capability to simulate Very Large Scale Integrated (VLSI) circuits with state-of-the-art Cadence* design tools. This laboratory supports both undergraduate courses and graduate research in circuit design and simulation. Students at ISU use these design tools in EE g432 Introduction to VLSI Design and ELSY 270 Electronic Drafting II.
The laboratory was established with support from AMI Semiconductor, IBM and Cadence Design Systems, Inc. Idaho State University is a Cadence University Program Member.
