Facilities

VLSI/CAD Laboratory

This laboratory provides students the capabilities to simulate and design Very Large Scale Integrated (VLSI) circuits with state-of-the-art Cadence* tools. The laboratory supports both undergraduate and graduate studies as well as research work in circuit design and simulations. Students at ISU use Cadence* design tools in the courses, such as EE g432 Introduction to VLSI Design, EEg433 Mixed Signal Design and ELSY 270 Electronic Drafting II.

The laboratory is maintained with the support from ON Semiconductor and Cadence Design Systems, Inc.
