Skynet
Skynet is our resident beowulf cluster. Skynet contains 30 nodes. It is full of roughly Pentium III class machines running between 600 and 1200 MHz all with over 600 mb or RAM. The head node has an Athlon 3000+ processor. Each node has a monitor, so it is trivial to do things like create a display wall. High traffic web pages can be easily distributed by process. Parallel code can also be tested on this cluster before being run on higher grade beowulf clusters such as brems (the Idaho Accelerator Center's cluster).
